Hello! My name is Samuel Standard.

I started photography and videography because I’ve always loved capturing real moments and turning them into something people can keep and look back on. What began as a creative outlet grew into a passion for capturing people in a way that feels genuine, cinematic, and full of life.

I'm drawn to moments that feel unscripted, the ones that happen in between the posed shots. My approach leans cinematic with intentional movement, natural light, and pacing that feels like a short film rather than a slideshow. Whether it's a portrait session, a brand campaign, or an event, the goal is the same: capture something that feels true, not staged. I currently attend North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, studying mechanical engineering. Alongside working in the media space, I enjoy dance, skating, and spending time with friends and family.

Looking forward to working with you!
